Comments:
One of my favorite memories on putting this play on, upstairs at the Old Red Lion Theater was the lifesize cut-out we made of the actor, which was meant to look like one of those standees you might see in a bookstore window.

"HEART OF SATURDAY NIGHT"
Synopsis:
Named after the Tom Waits ballad, this play was an off-beat look at prostitution, and soho hookers. It tells the story of three working-girls as they try to escape from 'the life...'
Status: First produced at The London New Play Festival in 1991• Originally directed by David Banks.
Comments:

My first year at the Old Red Lion, thanks to Phil Setren and Katie Tomashevski. It was a hoot to work with David Banks from Dr. Who, and it was hilarious to build a heart shaped bed with John Gilliam.
